It’s amazing how all it takes is a bit of an aesthetic redesign to make more people buy (or even re-buy) your product, and Microsoft seems to have scored with the slim Xbox 360 (or Xbox 360 S as it’s apparently called). I could write a lot of words here, but every time I do anAitDscreen post, it runs along the same old “I am looking forward to this game, these shots look nice” routine and it’s pretty redundant at this rate. As a huge fan ofAssassin’s Creed II, I couldn’t be more excited aboutAssassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. Based on what I’ve seen, it’s more than a quick cash-in, with updated game mechanics and a slew of updated content. So yeah, it looks great, and this seven minute walkthrough of the game makes me want it even more. But what is up with this voice over? The serious business tone of this guy’s voice is out of control....

There has been some buzz around the Internet concerning the PS3 version ofRAGE, with reports that the Blu-ray’s latent loading is contributing to an inferior product. We contacted Bethesda to see if there was a real issue at play, but the company remains resolute that all three versions are the same. “We also hadRAGErunning on PS3 in the press room [at QuakeCon] for folks to do their previews,” said marketing chief Pete Hines....

Running around a realistic depiction of New York City in the second generation Nanosuit sounds like good times, doesn’t it?...

Oh, this one’s a classic. An Italian boy wasrushed to hospitalafter it was believed he’d been suffering from a “severe brain disorder.” Disoriented and unable to speak, it turns out that young Lorenzo Amato had not, in fact, gone mental or suffered a stroke, but was feeling the effects of “PlayStation addiction.” Doctors at Italy’s Lecce hospital studied the boy in an attempt to assess why he was mute and seemingly unable to understand his surroundings....
