GH: Van Halen lands, yours should be there Monday

For aGuitar Herogame featuring a band as legendary as Van HalenGuitar Hero: Van Halenhas had surprisingly little hype — as in almost none. There’s been areveal trailerand some stuff with itat E3, but other than that it’s been all quiet on the rock n’ roll front. We didn’t even have an official track listing press release, which is one of those things that allGHgames get (thefull track listdid slip out). Because of the lack of PR for the game you might interested to check out5frets‘s screens of the game, which show ofGH: Van Halenin detail....

Gran Turismo 5 will have two limited editions?

We heard about one limited edition version ofGran Turismo 5at E3 a few weeks back. It’s a $99 bundle that comes with a book, DLC and even a miniatureNissan GT-R Spec V for your desktop. I was pretty set on picking that one up come November 2nd, but now I’m curious about this other version. Sony Computer Entertainment India’s Atindriya Bose may be talking about a bundle that’s specific to his country, but I don’t see why the world wouldn’t get this....

Home needs hotdogs, feedback meeting schedule for tonight

Homeneeds to have food. The thought occurred to me while I was jamming to some sick tunes in the Mall yesterday. When I dance inHome, I don’t do it for seconds or minutes. I go for broke, man. I push it to the limit. I get out there on the Mall’s shiny floors and pump and gyrate my body for hours on end. People never actually stop or watch me — they’re always too busy running in one of those damn stores or playing chess....

Imagine if an Aliens game looked like this

Videogame concept artist “Remo”posted a bloga few days ago showing off some work he’d been doing with Photoshop, and it’s so awesome I thought I’d share it on this slow news night. It’s a Colonial Marine done in a cel-shadedMegaMan-esque style and it’s absolutely brilliant. He stated he may do a Xenomorph next, and if he does, I know I’ll have a new desktop wallpaper sorted out. My question is this: Would you like anAliensgame done in this art style?...

Insomniac bummed over Resistance 2 fan response

Developers make games for the fans — or at least they say they do. A lot of times I think it’s for the money, but in the case of Insomniac we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Since they make games because they want people to enjoy them when people don’t enjoy them it must bedepressing as all hell, especially when that game already has an established audience thanks to the fact that it is a sequel....
