Nintendo tried motion capture, passed on it

While Sony and Microsoft are showing off their motion capture tech, Nintendo waves their hand dismissively, saying ‘been there, done that.’ Nintendo president Satoru Iwata toldFinancial Timesthat the camera-based motion capture tech was hoofy when compared to what they had going on with the accelerometers.
