THQ has announced that a downloadable content pack forSaint’s Row 2, called “Corporate Warfare” will be released on May 28 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The content will feature a new story arc that revolves around a civil war within the Ultor Corporation. It also promises to reveal the whereabouts of a “long-lost” 3rd Street Saint, Dex. As you’d expect, the content will also feature new vehicles, customization options, multiplayer maps, and achievements....

A very ambitious homebrewer who goes by the name KeithE has developed a motion-sensing card for the Nintendo DS. It consists of a 3-axis accelerometer and a single axis gyroscope. The card works on both, the DS and the DS Lite. Electronic Arts has announced a release date and details for their upcoming MMO experiment,Need for Speed World. Starting July 20th, players will be able to download a free client program to play the game. As a free user, you’ll be able to participate in races and advance your career through ten levels. Beyond that, you’ll have to pay a bit. Additionally announced is a “starter pack” featuring $20 worth of the SpeedBoost currency used in the game (how much that actually is and how far it goes has not been made entirely clear as of yet) along with a bundle of consumable power-ups and access to all fifty levels of career progression....
While the words “It was a bigger iPod Touch” rang throughout the Internet upon the reveal of Apple’s iPad, the source of this particular quote is a bit more interesting — Nintendo’s president, Satoru Iwata. Iwata felt the reveal and hardware was unsurprising, while denying rumors that the next iteration of the Nintendo DS would support motion controls. The president is also unsure of the “big winner” at this year’s CES, 3D gaming....
