After anotherDecember as the U.S.’s top selling home console, it looks like the Wii is on the decline again. Last month, the console was outsold by the Xbox 360 by about 60,000 units. That’s a +32% gain for the 360 compared to last year, and a -15% decrease for the Wii in the same time frame. With the newest,most well promoted motion controlleron the market, a sleek, lower priced Slim model, and arguably the best 3rd party support of all the current-gen home consoles, it’s no surprise to the 360 doing so well....

Elvis Presley’s “Blue Christmas” is so depressing. Wouldn’t you rather be listening to KISS and Linkin Park? Great! Activision is releasing KISS and Linkin Park track packs forGuitar Hero: Warriors of RockandDJ Hero 2respectively, just in time for Christmas. The KISS track pack will include three of the band’s biggest hits: “Rock and Roll All Nite,” “Detroit Rock City,” and “Calling Dr. Love.” It’ll run you 440 MS Points/$5.49/550 Wii Points for the full pack, or a 160 MS Points/$1....

L.A. Noireis getting a range ofpre-order bonusesfor you fellas in the U.S. and Rockstar has released a trailer for the Walmart-exclusive ‘Slip of the Tongue’ traffic case. It doesn’t show a whole lot, other than some hilarious out-of-cover animation at the end. Walmart customers will get a code in their box to download the exclusive DLC, while simultaneously destroying mom and pop stores in smalltown America, on June 07, 2025....

We’re almost at the climax ofViewtiful Joe 2on Backlog. Tune in tonight to find out if Joe and Sylvia can save Captain Blue and the world from the evil Gedow forces. If such a thing can be said to have a top, rest assured, this game will probably find some way to go over it. I honestly can’t say it’s been too terribly much fun for me. I understand the appeal....

Oh yes, it’s coming. Problem is it can’t come until we get some writers to fill it up with content. Unless LucasArts tosses out a surprise media blast in the next 30-odd hours (Grim Fandango2reveals are always welcome), it seems like the next game the studio announces won’t be a classic. According to a recenttweetby Geoff Keighley, LucasArts will reveal an original title on GTTV this Thursday night. Former Navy pilot John Ryan McLaughlin is suing Bethesda, claiming thatThe Elder Scrolls IV: Obliviongave him a grand mal seizure that cost him his flight status. According to the suit, it was the first seizure he’d ever had, and it was violent enough to break a bone. He is now permanently barred from flying the F-18 planes for which he was trained.
