Activision has confirmed that the exploitation ofCall of Dutyis well underway, with three major games in the franchise planned over the next two years. Activision’s human face, Dan Amrich, confirmed that the usual annual installments, plus a new game, are all coming. “As forCoD, they’ve confirmed three games in the next two years,” confirms Amrich. “Seeing as how there is a pattern of one newCoDgame every year, this is one newCoDgame from one new developer, and in a different genre from the core games we’ve seen....

For some reason, theTomb Raiderseries is something I have never gotten into, and I have no idea why. Wow. I mean … wow. Please, if you will, imagine Sephiroth Andrew Martin in third grade, at which point it is highly unlikely that he will be a badass anywhere near worthy of his name. Imagine other kids asking “What’s your name?” And then, imagine a skinny, pimply, awkward seven year old kid replying “Sephiroth.” I’m all for gamer references when it comes to your loved ones (it’s quite funny to name your fish Sephiroth, for example), but naming your kid after one of the most memorable game villains of all time is just downright wrong....

This edition is a little bigger than the norm, although not as big and epic aslast week’s YTMND Thursday.
