Factor 5 on downloadable PS3 titles

Factor 5, developers ofLairfor the PlayStation 3, are, in addition to finishing the game, currently in the process of preparing two downloadable games for the PS3’s online service. Speaking in an interview withGamasutra, Factor 5 co-founder and president, Julian Eggebrecht said he felt downloadable PS3 games have huge potential. Upon being asked what aspects of the gaming business he was looking forward to in 2007, here’s what he said: “Actually I’m really looking forward to 2007, because we’re going to finishLair, which is my biggest concern right now, but also, I’m really looking forward to working on a couple of smaller projects [for PlayStation 3], with the so-called EDI [E-Distribution Initiative] from Sony, which I think has huge potential, and personally as a director, I think it’s one of these things that we in the creative community need a little bit....

Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake goes gold

Final Fantasy: Distant Worlds comes to Sydney

As part of the Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy world tour, the game music concert will be stopping in Sydney in April of 2011. There’s going to be two performances starting on the 15th, and concert tickets for the event go on sale early for fans next month, starting on October 15th. This could really be the ultimate Distant Worlds concert. Gearbox Interview @ Community Day 2011
