Deadly Premonition,that game we’re always talking about, has reached alandmark sales figure, having crossed the 50,000 mark in the United States. While clearly this number pales in comparison to the AAA games of the world, it’s still a huge success for an obscure budget game that everybody expected to disappear without a trace. It would appear that the Internet’s fascination with irony has been a huge contributing factor toDeadly Premonition‘s sales....

TheDistant Worlds: music from Final Fantasyconcert series is absolutely amazing. I can’t fully convey how wonderful the couple of performances I’ve attended were. I could barf out a stream of superlatives at you, but nothing comes close to describing how great it is to hear the music of Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu live, performed by a top notch orchestra. Between the show whereI interviewed Nobuo Uematsuand the other where I enjoyed the concert outdoors at night, Distant Worlds holds special places in my memories....

Sony Online Entertainment released a new social game by Night Owl Games on Facebook calledDungeon Overlord. It’s basicallyDungeon Keeperfor Facebook. You build a dungeon by building rooms and hallways on tiles and by upgrading them. Build a Tavern to attract Thieves for instance, or build a Library to spawn a Warlock who needs a bed to sleep in. You can even rename your creatures for a more personal touch. Income comes from gold, crystal, iron and food....
