Nintendo and Sony expanding further into Asia, Microsoft gets lonely

According toThomson Financialvia Japanese newspaperNikkei, Nintendo and Sony are beginning to actively court countries in Asia besides Japan, specifically Taiwan and South Korea. Nintendo has recently started to “provide technologies” to a certain South Korean developer, while Sony is reportedly working with the Taiwanese to establish game development in the region. OnLive’s ‘all you can play’ service now live

OnLive’s“PlayBack” feature— an “all you can eat” style service for streaming games — is now live. The service, which will cost you $9.99 month, has launched with 38 games. Otakon ’10: Videogame cosplay and more

If you’re out to see good cosplay, Baltimore’s Otakon is one of the best events to attend. Anime Expo in LA is pretty good too, but Otakon is even better that Comic-Con.
