The music fromComic Jumperis some of the best they’ve done yet and now you’re able to download the entire soundtrack from Twisted Pixel for free. How cool is that? Pretty cool. A 55-year-old woman allegedly stabbed a 13-year-old boy in a drunken rage after the two argued over his Xbox gaming habits, it has been reported. Isobel MacKenzie denies the stabbing, however, claiming that the boy stabbed himself, merely to get her into trouble. The boy, from Inverness, Scotland, claims he was pushed into a chair by Isobel, who has already admitting to being drunk and neglecting him in the past, when the Xbox argument began....

StreumOnStudio’s Source-driven shooterE.Y.Emay have a ludicrous name, but this cyberpunk-flavored shooter with roleplaying features might be a surprising little indie hit. We have two new trailers for the game (yanked fromRPS) and I’m rather intrigued. E.Y.Epromises shooting action, hacking and RPG elements with some pretty deep and involving menus. An interesting balance between fiddly micromanagement and balls-to-the-wall action that could go horribly wrong, but might just succeed. It has a heavy smell ofDeus Exaround it, and that’s probably not a bad thing....

Microsoft threw a big bash here in Los Angeles tonight to celebrate upcoming racing titleForza Motorsport 4. I showed up and geeked the f*ck out at all the beautiful cars they had lined up for the party. Sure, they also had pretty girls and beer, but the cars were definitely the star of the show. Upon arriving I instantly lost my sh*t over an Audi R8, an NSX, a beautiful GT-R and several others sitting outside, but that was nothing compared to what they had inside....
Last year’s E3 had an intriguing teaser for an exclusive Xbox 360 game by Crytek calledCodename: Kingdoms. And since then…we’ve heard nothing about it. Now, the codename has been dropped, with the game going by the new monikerRyse. It’s a period piece set in ancient Rome, with wartorn environments and lots of sword fighting. More interesting, though, is the reveal at the end of the trailer that the game will be controlled by Kinect motion control....

In the past, Nintendo of America has published a few second party M-rated games in the US likeEternal Darkness andGeist. I’m all for supporting indie developers, but there is a reason that hardly anybody in the media is talking about the Xbox 360 Community Games channel, Microsoft’s XNA-led indie game portal. That reason, in case you didn’t notice, is that nearly everything on there is pure, unfettered, stinking trash. Konami is hosting their first DanceDanceRevolution community event ever this week in Los Angeles. It will be held at Royal-T Cafe (9010 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA) on Thursday the 12th, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. and will feature many DDR games, including the very first look at the PS3 version.DanceMastersand DDR Wii will also be there, so that means that both PlayStation Move and Kinect will be representing.
