We are only weeks away from the release of Sega’sIron Mangame, set to hit shelves on May 2 to coincide with the release of the film. Sega has released a new batch of in-game screens, with most of them detailing the various suits Tony Stark can step in and out of throughout the course of the game. Some are obvious, like the classic armor thatIron Manwore when he made his debut in Marvel’s Tales of Suspense issue #48....

Konami released this trailer forSilent Hill: Homecomingthis morning. Having played the game, I’m really impressed with this bit of footage for emphasizing more of the human drama than the outright gory bits of the game. Don’t get the wrong impression of this, though, because there’s plenty of that other stuff in the game. In the gallery below, observe the twenty screens we managed to grab, showing off some of the boss fights along with some generally creepy environment shots....

The problem arises, in most cases, immediately before a cut-scene begins to load. This is bummer, obviously, but as Joystiq notes, Bungie is looking into it. A representative is probing those with issues and the community itself came up with a sound solution: download the game to the hard drive....

How in the … oh, right. I knewThe Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivionwas a glitchy game, but hot damn, this isinsane. Almost every speedrun out there involves some sort of exploit in order to shave off precious seconds of game time (or in this case, hours), and theOblivionspeedrun located above is no exception. By falling through the map, the speedrunner is able to initiate the game’s final quest, completely skipping all of those pesky fetch missions....

Namco Bandai’s long-delayed current-genSplatterhousereboot is making its way slowly but surely to consoles, and it may come with an added bonus — three of the original games. The latest issue ofOfficial PlayStation Magazinehas the details, revealing that the title will ship with the uncensored Japanese arcade version of the original, along with the Sega Genesis versions ofSplatterhouse 2andSplatterhouse 3. The content is said to be unlockable and on the disc, not as a pre-order bonus or any outside downloadable content....

You might recall thatTrue Crime: Hong Kongwascanceled by Activisionfor not being good enough. In a twist move, United Front Games’ open-world title has been picked up by Square Enix. Since the company didn’t get the IP itself, a change of name will be in order. According to Square Enix London Studios general manager Lee Singleton, it’s got an “incredible new game engine, rich new story with deep and complex characters, and gameplay features which have simply never been seen at this level in an open world game....

The official website forStargate Resistancehas posted amessagethat the game is basically closing down. While the loss of the MGM license was previously thought to only affect the sales of unreleased Stargate games, it now looks like this also included any new sales of the ill-fated online shooter.The game is now no longer for sale and anyone who bought it will only be able to play it until June 15, 2025. Ouch....

I’ve seen some bizarre swag in my day (the giant stuffed animal heads from Hudson to promoteKororinpawere a personal favorite), but I have to laugh at the creativity here.MTV Multiplayergot a little package from D3 to promote the release of the Onechanbara games coming up for the Wii and Xbox 360 (Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie SlayersandOnechanbara: Bikini Samurai Squad, respectively) containing an Onechanbara bikini, hat, sword and tube of fake blood to coat the sword with and shake off accordingly....

Once again, a game has been confirmed for the Virtual Console, using the ESRB website for reference. This time it’sStreet Fighter II: The World Warrior, and if there’s one non-N64 game on there I’d be willing to spend my limited finances on, this would be it. There’s just something to be said about playing one of the bestStreet Fightergames ever, using something that resembles an oldschool D-pad controller.

It’s hard to imagine anybody stringing these words together in this order and making it the title of a videogame, but truth is indeed stranger than fiction.Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, a PSN title from Psyonix Studios, falls into the equally bizarre genre of “arena-based online vehicle sports.” What the video seems to portray is the long dreamt of fusion of demolition derby and soccer. Cars come equipped with boosters that can launch them into the air to perform all manner of aerial stunts and attempt to drive an oversized ball into a goal....
