As promised in my hands-on of the newTeam Fortress 2content, here are all 36 new achievements for the Medic. To get the new weapons that will be available for the Medic, you have to complete all these achievements. Completing one third of the achievements gets you the Blutsauger, completing two thirds gets you the Critzcrieg and completing all the achievements gets you the Ubersaw. I’m not that big of aTeam Fortress 2player, so looking at some of the required achievements looks like it’ll be extremely hard....

With the crazy popularity of Angry Birds, I wouldn’t be surprised if a real movie ever happens. There’s a cartoon in the works, after all. A concept which sounds worse thanCatdog(how did they pee?!) Hopefully that day never comes, unless of course it’s in the style of Rooster Teeth’s take. Then I’ll happily watch it.

I’m not sure about it being the “World’s greatest RPG,” but the new trailers forAr Tonelico IIIlook great. JRPG haters will want to skip this one, but the rest of you will likely dig these new trailers for the upcoming Japanese PS3 release. I like the first trailer (above), as it skips through crazy musical selections and even crazier situations. It’s just crazy all around. Watch on as characters magically shed their clothing....

Similar to how last year’sPrince of Persiaeliminated the need for a game over screen by giving the Prince a freakishly helpful companion in Elika, so too will the Caped Crusader be able to avoid seeing the dreadful “you suck, here’s bloody words on top of darkness” screen, at least in some scenarios....

If you want to talk about console fanboy-ism, I’ll admit that I was a Sega kid, and that I still have various Sega plushies,gashapon, key chains and various other collectibles strewn about my pad. As the days go on, I grow more and more fond of my Xbox 360. I don’t know that I’m to the point where I’d want to sleep with it yet, but if I did, my bases would be covered with this plushie console....

Blipfest took a break last year, but the concert is BACK ON THIS YEAR! Yes! Blip Festival, a three-day concert celebrating all things chiptune, takes place this May 19-21 atEyebeam in Manhattan. The organizers of the concert (8bitpeople) estimate that they will have about 24 musical acts and a number of live visualists to accompany the music. You can also expect some screenings, presentations and workshops for all you aspiring chiptune artists....

Oh my dear lord… I am so excited aboutBoom Blox Bash Party. Electronic Arts just told us that the game is confirmed to be shipping on May 19, and I’ve marked it down on my calendar. You think I’m kidding, right? I’m not.Boom Bloxwas my favorite Wii game of 2008, and I took a lot of crap for it. But I’m sticking to my guns. Fun is fun, right? And Boom Blox was fun, so I want more....

Castlevania: Lords of Shadowis looking really good. The new game has no ties to previousCastlevaniagames, but as producer Dave Cox told us,Lords of Shadowbegan life as a remake of the original 8-bitCastlevania: The original concept was to remake the original classic 8-bit game in 3D. That was our original pitch, funny enough, with Simon Belmont and everything. We soon realized as we were doing the prototype that actually that’s probably not a good idea....
