There’s opportunism, and then there’s just plain douchebaggery. Pennsylvanian man Jody Lynn Bennett appears to have gone with the latter category, stealing a games console and accessories from inside the casket of a seventeen-year-old boy. The boy, Bradley McCombs, was killed in an SUV crash on Christmas Day, and his body was displayed at the funeral with a number of videogame items. It’s not clear whether he tried to be subtle, or just ran into the funeral home, grabbed the swag, and ran away....

A little while back, I posted some official art from Capcom depicting Mega Man’s female counterpartRoll lying around with a bunchof other versions of the character in a semi-cuddly, maybe-groping manner. The art was sold in Japan on either a mug or a jigsaw puzzle. At the time, I thought the art was either creepy or cute, depending on how you looked at it. I wonder what all of you think of the art now that Roll has been swapped out for the many forms of Mega Man we’ve seen over the years....

Perhaps the greater question — should that description prove to be accurate — is why would someone want to do such a thing? Sega has put up some new screenshots forBinary Domain, and it’s looking as washed-out as ever. I really hope they put some bolder colors in before this game releases, because it’s looking so very unremarkable. I don’t like to harp on about graphics, but when your game looks likeMindjack, you should do all in your power to not look likeMindjack.
