Robot Entertainment’s sweet lookingOrcs Must Die!will be playable at PAX on both PC and Xbox 360, the developer has said today. Additionally, the first 200 people to roll up and play the game will get a printed version of theOrcs Must Die!prequelcomic book. Not a fan of lines, but all of this stuff sounds good, so sign me up.

Andy Schatz and Chris Hecker were smart to get a booth at PAX Prime. So, so smart. Their respective games,MonacoandSpyParty, were a winning combination, and it absolutely showed in the faces of convention attendees. Penny-Arcade just announced that pre-registration is now open for the sixth annualPenny Arcade Expo, taking place September 4 through the 6th this year. If you purchase your pass before September 3, the three day pass will run $50 or you may get a daily pass for $30. After September 3, the three day pass will cost $55 and day passes will cost $35. If you want to participate in the Omegathon this year, you will have to pre-register....

While fans of old-school RPGs rejoiced when Atlus’ enhanced port of the originalPersonagame hit the PlayStation Portable, a few of the more crotchety devotees complained about director/composer Shoji Meguro’s rearranged musical score. It was a minor complaint to be sure, but it seems Atlus has taken it to heart for their work on the upcoming port ofPersona 2: Innocent Sin, especially since they’ve declared that the port was being done for older fans of the series....
Valve has announced “DLC #1” forPortal 2and it’s going to be free for all the versions of the game! The new content will be outthis Summerand will include new test chambers, leaderboards, challenge mode for single and multiplayer and “more.” Got to say, really impressed that the DLC will be free. I mean, that’s to be expected for PC and Mac players. It’s the console side that I’m wowed with. Also note the title of this DLC has “#1” so we can expect more content down the line....
Upcoming PSP gamePersona 2: Innocent Sinwill come with a soundtrack CD packed with new tunes from series composer Shoji Meguro, but if you want a copy Atlus says that you’ll want to put in a pre-order for the game. The free mini-soundtrack CD featuring 10 tracks from the game’s musical score will be bundled along with the game in a special collector’s box. Atlus says that the supply is limited, so you’ll want to pre-order to claim one for yourself....
It looks like the Protoss will be playable in the firstStarCraft IIrelease,StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. In a recentofficial message board post, Blizzard’s Stefanie Gwinner revealed that the delectable aliens are to be featured as part of a “mini-campaign.” Save the slobber — not all of the units or upgrades are to be shown in this planned slice. “This part of the campaign mode is of course way shorter than the Terran part, Gwinner wrote,” but it is very fun to have a very different style to add even more variety to the game....
Epic’s Mark Rein continues to provide a wealth of information. He said yesterday inEpic’s UT3 forumsthat the PlayStation 3 version of the game would support mouse and keyboard gameplay. I checked with Steve Polge and he said that YES we are supporting keyboard and mouse in Unreal Tournament 3 on PS3. He is confident we are doing it in a way that will be balanced without feeling “gimped” for either side....
