Halfbrick has been on a roll with awesome games as of late with titles such asRaskullsandFruit Ninja. Their next game looks to continue that trend withMachine Gun Jetpack, where you play as a character that uses a machine gun strapped to his back as a jetpack. Yes, really. TheRobot Unicorn Attack-style game sees you running and gaining points for as long as possible. Items and power-ups will help you along the way and … really all that matters is that YOU HAVE A MACHINE GUN THAT’S USED AS A JETPACK!...

Tara seems to dig the combination of shooter and RPG gameplay inDead Island. Max doesn’t seem so convinced, particularly when it comes to the idea of degrading weapon quality. At least both can agree that this is a very pretty game, which I will admit surprised the hell out of me. Something about the high quality of those first teaser videos led me to suspect that we might be a bit disappointed by what the actual game would bring....

Electronic Arts and EA Sports have officially announced their return to the ring withFight Night Round 4, set to ship next year for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The EA Vancouver-developed title will feature a completely re-written gameplay engine that is designed around a physics-based animation system. A variety of legendary boxers and fighting styles will be weaved into the game, including the brawling style of Mike Tyson and the speed of Muhammad Ali....

Tecmo Koei has announced that aFist of the North Star: Ken’s Ragedemo will be available for you to download via PlayStation Network or Xbox Live Arcade on October 19th. You will be able to put peoples’ insides on their outsides using either Ken or Rei in two stages. This is an example of a demo that is as likely to compel my purchase of the game as it is to quench any desire I would have to play it again....

I don’t even know where to begin with this. Fox News interviewed EA Sports boss Peter Moore because there are unlockable politicians inNBA Jam. Retail giant GameStop has started making a lot of moves to branch out business as of late, particularly in the avenue of mobile gaming as it startedaccepting trade-insof Apple iOS devices last week. But it seems that the company isn’t content to merely peddle somebody else’s hardware and will be selling a GameStop-branded Android tablet next year. According toGartner‘s research VP and Chief Analyst, Bryan Lewis, the Red Ring of Death that’s plagued the Xbox 360 since launch is the result of a crappy graphics chip — one designed by Microsoft itself.
