FIFA 11 breaks sports launch records, 2.6 million sold

EA Sports is quite pleased with the launch-week performance ofFIFA 11. A press release this morning says that this was the biggest launch week ever for a sports game. The latest in EA’s soccer series sold over 2.6 million copies and generated over $150 million at retail. The title launched in the US on September 28th, and in Europe on October 1st. With these EA figures up to October 2nd, this officially makesFIFA 11the fastest-selling sports game ever....
