SEGA has recently registered a new domain name forSonic Generations, with rumblings suggesting that this is the name of the “real” current generationSonicgame. What does that mean? From what I can gather, it means it’ll beSonic 2006, but not absolutely dreadful. Valkyria Chroniclesmay be one of the best games to ever grace my PS3, and I’m not saying that just because of the drop dead gorgeous watercolor-inspired art style. Other gamers just as addicted as I am may be pleased to find out that the game has been snapped up for antelevised series. It will be done by A-1 Pictures, who are also responsible for two of my favorite shows,Persona: Trinity SoulandKuroshitsuji,the latter which is currently airing on the Tokyo Broadcasting System in Japan....

It’s a simple fact: say the words “Silent Hill” and I froth at the mouth like a rabid dog. It’s been this way since the first game in the series sunk its claws into my psyche, and I suspect unless the series goes the way of the Dodo I’ll always be this way. Naturally, I’m also interested in what other obsessed Silent Hill fans are into, so when I see one does a tribute album, I’m all about checking it out....

Every time a newPokemongame comes out, people freak over the starters. They’re never universally accepted, garnering a lot of “That one looks too much like a (blank) crossed with a (blank), and therefore, it sucks and I hate it.” and “Oh come on, a (fire/water/grass)-type (monkey/crocodile/turtle/lizard/mole/shmoo-thing)? THAT’S STUPID!”, as if whatever they’re complaining about is any less “stupid” than the hundreds of other Pokemon they’ve already grown to love. That’s how people reacted fromPokemon Silver/Goldon out, and I’m sure that’s what will happen withPokemon Black/White....

Cuz the only thing cooler than playing Simon is playing Simon with your feet.

Cospais like the nerd’s dream company. They manufacture everything fromGurren LagannringstoAtlus t-shirts, and since I own one of the latter, I can vouch that their stuff is great quality. That being said, I couldn’t stop giggling this morning when I saw theGolgo 13 eyemask,which could easily be the most hilarious use of twelve of your hard earned dollars ever. If there’s anything that’s freaking awesome, it’s looking like Duke Togo while you sleep....

Just as I’m finally tearing my way throughYakuza 3(review coming soon!), Yakuza 4releases in Japan this week. That’s already enough to make me feel like I’m behind on one of my favorite game franchises. And now we hear that anotherYakuzagame is in the works? Famitsusays that a newYakuza game was annoucned at a presser in Tokyo. They’re calling it “Project K,” and it’s coming from director Toshiro Nagoshi. While it’s still too early to call it Yakuza 5, it’s still anotherYakuza, and we’re still running behind!...

This time, some cheeky bastard has uploaded Dr. Robotnik’s boss music for the enjoyment of anybody who doesn’t like to be surprised by their videogames and enjoy things in their correct context.
