This Fallout gun is made out of paper… PAPER!

Yea, that gun is made out of paper. Usually paper craft is pretty awesome, but you can tell it’s paper. That thing looks like it could be solid metal. In case you’re unsure of what “that thing” is, it’s a laser pistol fromFallout 3. It was made by Leo Firebrand ofFirebrand Creations, and I dub him officially awesome. He made the gun in a mostly straightforward manner (whatever that means), but the handle had to be done in papier-mâché because of its ergonomic design....

Yeah, that’s right – busting Nazis for experience points. Not surprisingly, the game will be in full 3D and span an epic nine levels....

The latest games to be added to theXbox LIVE Arcade Hitsline-up areWorms,Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, andFeeding Frenzy. The three titles can now be purchased for the nifty price of 400 Microsoft Points each. X10: A sandbox shooter and whole lot more: Halo: Reach

I’ve never been a fan ofHalobecause I’m too cool for school, and popular games are hella lame, and no one cool likes what everyone likes. Yet — this is a big “yet” — after what I’ve been shown ofHalo: Reach, I think I might break down my pretensions and accept what is here:Halo: Reachlooks really, really cool....

Act of War and R.U.S.E. dev shows screenshots of new game

Eugen Systems, creators of theAct of Warseries and last year’sR.U.S.E., are working on the unfortunately titledWargame: European Escalation. It’s a game about a war set in Europe where things are escalating, you see? Set during an alternate history 1975-1985 period, the game will have you fight NATO or Warsaw Pact forces with conventional weapons. It will also featureR.U.S.E.‘s IRISZOOM engine, so we can probably expect the same kind of tabletop overview of massive battlefields for large conflict resolutions....

All-Pro Football’s new campaign: surprise, hip-hop artists like football

Today 2K Sports have announced the “Football Ressurected” campaign to promote their upcoming title,All-Pro Football 2K8. The campaign merges the two ingredients that are known to sell units at retail: football and hip-hop. The two are so closely related that they might as well replace all half-time shows with ciphers and graff bomb contests, and ditch all cheerleaders in favor of The Zulu Kings. All kidding aside, the campaign does look pretty slick, kicking off with an episodic online video seriesdirected by Maz Makhani (who also worked on the R Kelly video classic, “Feelin’ On Yo Booty” and more recently, Nickelback’s “If Everyone Cared....
