Turning Point: Fall of Liberty demo hits Xbox LIVE

According to Codemasters, a demo for their upcoming first-person shooterTurning Point: Fall of Libertyhas hit Xbox LIVE. At 1.4 GB, the demo puts players in the shoes of Dan Carson, a New York City construction engineer who is thrust into battle when an undefeated Third Reich launches an attack on the city. Alternate 1953 history sucks. Xbox LIVE has also decided to suck, as well. This Spark Unlimited developed shooter sounds promising, and I’d love to check it out this morning....

U.S. gov thinking about unified rating system for most media

The government believes this is necessary to help protect the children from all the new and horrifying ways that they can watch inappropriate television and play inappropriate games....

Viacom spanked by poor Rock Band sales

Viacom’s quarterly revenues were down 14 percent. When sales are down, you’ve gotta blame someone or something, right? Rock Bandgets the blame this time around. I don’t care about the money and the success of Viacom as much as I do Destructoid Editor-in-Chief Nick Chester, who will probably cry tonight because of this....

Weekend Destructainment: Hey baby, want a Screw Attack?

I had the pleasure of meetingHandsome Tom and Stuttering Craig from ScrewAttackat E3 last week. We were at the Bethesda party and we got to talking about their videos. They brought up their E3 special they made before heading out to E3 2007 and I told them I would love to use it.
