According to Next Gen, Famitsu asked its readers what they thought the top 10 news stories of recent shows like E3 2007 and Tokyo’s PlayStation Premiere were, and Nintendo’s announcement ofWii Fittopped the list. It looks like Japan is slightly more enthusiastic about the new Nintendo fitness peripheral than many ofour readersandeditorsare. Team Bondi’sL.A. Noirehas, quite unsurprisingly, broken a sales record to become the fastest selling new property in British history. In addition, it’s become the 15th fastest selling game on Xbox 360 and the 11th fastest on PS3. So far, its sales have matched those of Rockstar’s last major release,Red Dead Redemption. Chart-Track, as usual, refused to release solid sales data, only giving us these lovely little comparisons. Did anybody think this game would flop?...

Sega has released a brand new trailer this morning for Prope’s fun looking Wii exclusive,Let’s Tap. Just in case you didn’t know,Let’s Tapuses the Wii Remote in a most interesting way, as players will control the game’s cavalcade of minigames merely by tapping on a small box. This particular stage is called Silent Blocks, and it involves players carefully tapping to remove colored blocks from a stack without knocking it over....

There are some frustrating design elements, like the combat which has taught me that cutting and running is often the best solution.
