If you were thinking of blaming the lack of stellar titles this summer for the considerable drop in year-over-year sales in the games industry, EEDAR’s Jesse Divinich would probably urge you to rethink it. Despite the demise of Gamecock,Dungeon Hero— the game in which goblins pee, even if you’re not looking — is still in development. The folks behind the game, Firefly Studios,recently update its Web sitewith some non-news on the game. Confirming that the game still “lives,” it said the loss of a publisher has “created a number of challenges,” resulting inDungeon Hero‘s delay. Despite this, Firefly appear committed to the franchise, saying they’re working on other projects built around the game’s universe....

Quickhit Footballwas a weird game for me to play. As someone who doesn’t really pay much attention to football, a game that acts as a fusion between fantasy football and and RPG is great for fans, but not quite for me. However, that’s not to say that the game is bad! It’s just something different for fans to play on browsers, and especially for those who dislike other football titles....
