I’m sorry, a “collectible.” It’s a light cycle model designed by Sideshow Collectibles (see, just like I said with the “collectible” thing)....

We’re not European press, so we weren’t atlast year’s Ubisoft press event, UBIDAYS. It’s likely we won’t be at this year’s event either, but we can slap a mustache on Jim Sterling and attempt to sneak him in, I suppose. Announced today by Ubisoft, the UBIDAYS 2008 press event will take place at the home of “Mona Lisa,” Paris’ world-famous Louvre museum. According to Ubisoft, last year’s event was such a success (note: “UBIDAYS” is now trademarked), they couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a follow-up....

Last month, the third-person shooter MMOCrimeCraftwas released. While interest was certainly there, actual numbers for the game are a little on the shallow side. Thankfully, Vogster Entertainment is more than willing to make amends, and has announced a new update to the game. There is actually quite a lot to this update, with new pricing, new content, and some neat little features that should hopefully get some interest back on this MMO....

After months of teasing, Mistwalker has finally revealed a glimpse ofThe Last Storyvia the industry’s propaganda rag,Famitsu. Although the imagery is still minuscule and teasing, it’s better than nothing, so check if out if you’re interested in this hot sounding RPG. Recently, five gaming companies, including Codemasters and Atari, sent notice to 25,000 file-sharing internet users, demanding 300 GBP each or risk court action. It seems that they were looking to get some cash back from the rampant piracy of their games. Alex St. John, CEO of WildTangent, feels that the blame should be placed on the industry, and not the consumer. “Console gamers spend more time playing PC games but they spend one third of the money on the PC,” he said toGamesIndustry....
