Killzone 3 ‘confirmed’ on Dutch TV, Guerrilla denies all

A few weeks ago, we ran a rumor that saidKillzone 3wasin development for a 2010 release. Now the rumor hasgained more groundwith a Guerrilla’s animation director allegedly confirming the game and stating that it could indeed be ready by next year. Jan-Bart Van Beek is quoted as saying thatKillzone 3is in the works right now and they’re currently looking at a 2011 release date, with a 2010 launch entirely possible. Beek says that Sony is not pressuring the team for a 2010 release, so it’s a case of the game being ready when it’s ready, I guess....

Math shows that Wolfenstein will have 1,638 kills

Here’s a little bit of non-news that involves math.MTV Multiplayergot some time with the upcomingWolfenstein, and during their gameplay they saw that their progress was being kept track of. Percentages popped up as they picked up things and killed Nazis. Evidently they had a good time with it as by the end of their game they had killed 639 evil Nazis and gotten through about 36 percent of the game (or more likely they were put into the game that far along)....

MediEvil yanked from PlayStation Network due to bugs

The downloadable PlayStation gameMediEvilhas been pulled down from the PlayStation Network due to a bug that causes the game to crash. Sony toldEurogamerthat this bug, which causes the game to stop on the third level, led to the withdrawal this week. There is no given date for the patched return, but Sony says it will eventually return to the PlayStation Store once fixed, and anyone who originally purchased the game will be able to download it again for free....
