I can easily say that PAX Prime 2010 was Destructoid’s best PAX yet. There were more games, events and more importantly, more community this year than ever before. Dtoiders from all over the US, Canada, Mexico, Europe, United Kingdom, Australia descended upon Seattle Washington to celebrate all things geeky and hang out with their fellow Dtoiders for an entire weekend. Like previous years, tons of pictures were taken and a number of blogs were written detailing their experience at PAX Prime 2010....

World of Goois kind of the best reason I have to pick up a Wii controller right now (at least, until my much-covetedFragilegets a North American release), and one of my favorite things about the game is its delightful music, which perfectly suits the whimsical gameplay. I would happily have forked over money to own the soundtrack, but thanks to 2D Boy, you can enjoy the game’s 49 minute soundtrack for absolutely nothing....

With the Variety Map Pack forCall of Duty 4now being soldat half priceand Xbox 360 owners getting yet another Double XP weekend (PS3 love coming next weekend), I think now is as good of time as any to jump back into the game. Jediknight12345 posted on GamesFAQs’ Current Events board Wednesday night asking the rest of the community if they felt he should burn down a church and a school. Despite moderators removing the post, by Thursday the poster was already telling his fellow GameFAQs members that he’d gone ahead and done it....

The sad thing is that the trailer actually makes it look better, in terms of graphics, than theSplit/SecondiPhoneandiPadgames. While playingGears of Warwith a friend tonight, we discovered a new feature that’s been added sincethe patch: knockouts. Previously, if you were downed in versus, you could be revived as many times as needed. However, since the patch, they’ve added a new system where if you’re downed three times it’s game over — basically givingGearsan extra lives system. You now get three lives before you go to that big Cog factory in the sky....

Good Old Gameshas officially revealed that its site “closure” was just a big hoax to promote the launch of a new website. Having taken its site down since Sunday and blocking customers from accessing any games they might have just purchased, GOG has effectively said “f*ck you” to its users just for attention. For what it’s worth, the new GOG will still feature DRM-free games and no download client. It had not been bought out, and seems to still be its own boss, so no actual structural changes have been had....

Despite originally being slated for a 2007 release, Rockstar’s highly anticipatedGrand Theft Auto IVis nowofficially duefor a simultaneous PS3/Xbox 360 worldwide release date of April 29th, 2008.
