In fact, it’s looking so good that I’m convinced Ubisoft’s one-buttonPrince of Persiafrom 2008 was just a sinister marketing scheme, all convoluted to makeForgotten Sandslook that much better. This video definitely tells PoP fans what they want to hear — a familiar control scheme, an atmosphere similar toSands of Time, and classic time-manipulating abilities all work together to makeForgotten Sandslook like the game Ubisoft should have released the last time around....

Great technology does not necessarily make a great game, and whileCrysiswas a very well-done sandbox first-person shooter, the consensus held that it was lacking on the story side. A change of scenery was in order, to be sure, but Crytek has a lot more in store for PC (and console!) gamers this time around. Crysis 2takes place in New York City, and you will be doing your damndest to defend the metropolis from an invading alien force....

There’s been plenty of talk about the RedBox movie rental kiosks going game lately. Now it looks like the company is pushing forward with the plan, and is currently in talks with several game studios to get their titles in the box. It turs out thatRedBox has been conducting trials since August, with machines in Reno, Nevada, and Wilmington, North Carolina spitting out game rentals for $2 a piece. Even Brian Farrell, CEO of THQ, said he’d consider going the RedBox route....
