That’s exactly what’s happening on August 20at the Sydney Opera House, when legendary game designer and composer Masaya Matsuura will perform live. The creator of seminal rhythm gamePaRappa The Rapperwill be showcasing some of his past and present work from his games and studio, NanaOn-Sha.

It’s always great when videogame music is played live. Typically, it can prove to be a celebration of under-appreciated music that wouldn’t otherwise see the light of day, as well as recalling emotions from the game itself. But considering Matsuura was also the brains behindVib-RibbonandUmJammer Lammy, you can probably be guaranteed some audio-visual entertainment on a whole other level.
