If you’re worried thatCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3may see vastly inferior products on systems that are not called “Xbox 360,” then you might be in luck. Infinity Ward has said that there’s no lead platform, with the 360 and PS3 being equal.
“We don’t have lead platforms, we develop each version alongside each other,” said community man Robert Bowling. “Xbox 360 is running at same as PS3.”
If, like me, you wondered what that meant for the PC version, don’t worry. Bowling says that computers are getting equal treatment: “PC is included in that, don’t be so quick to assume PC isn’t included. It’s the one platform that receives unique optimizations.”
Call of Duty: Black Opsgained notoriety for“inferior” PS3 and PC versions, so hopefully this news is sincere and means good things for all players.
