I don’t know about the panty vending machines, but I love all of Japan’s other ones. My favorite hotel has beer vending machines in the hallway of every floor. How great is that? Two coins out of your pocket and a button press nets you a frosty cold can of Asahi to take back to your room. It’s like a dream that you may relive every time you pass a machine.

Nabbing banned gaming hardware looks to be just as easy in Tokyo’s Nihonbashi area. That’s right: get your cigarettes, energy drinks, flowers, and a nice R4 to bring home to the lady of the house, all from vending machines. Well, wait — what’s this? The R4 are all sold out? That’s okay: 8,000 yen for one is bullsh*t anyway.
