In a rather surprising (or unsurprising, depending on how cynical you choose to be), Funcom has today announced that flailing MMOAge of Conanis launching a massive incentive — allowing you to play the game, for free, forever.
“Anyone who downloads, registers, and starts playing the trial before January 1st 2010 will be able to enjoy all of level one to twenty — the entireIsland of Tortageexperience — without ever having to upgrade to a full account or pay a subscription fee,” boasts Funcom. “This unique Unlimited Free Trial campaign is only available until January 1st as a special holiday offer to anyone who wishes to experience the sexy and savage world of Conan.”
you may make your jokes about Funcom not even being able to give its MMO away, but nevertheless that’s quite a tantalizing offer. I think I’m actually going to take them up on it, too. What about you?
