The publisher has announced that it will be handing out a free book that will act as a prequel to the recently announcedThe Darkness 2. The Digital Extremes developed title takes place two years after the events of the original, and finds the tortured protagonist Jackie as the Don of the Estacado crime family.
The comic book will presumably catch everyone up on what Jackie had been doing for 730 days. Let’s hope it’s not just sitting around wining, dining, and taking advantage of dames. That’s what crime bosses do when they’re not tearing people apart with their Darkness monster arms, right?
