Retailers worldwide have been hinting at them for months, but it’s now official: Ubisoft is releasingTom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HDandPrince of Persia Classic Trilogy HDto retail this March for PlayStation 3.
Splinter Cell Classic Trilogywill feature the originalSplinter Cell,Pandora Tomorrow, andChaos Theoryon one Blu-ray disc. The games will be getting not only an HD upgrade, but will support stereoscopic 3D as well.
ThePrince of Persiacollection will featureSands of Time,Warrior Within, andThe Two Thrones; they’ll be getting the same upgrades as theSplinter Cellcollection.
Both discs will be available at retail on March 22 for $39.99 a piece. Digital bundles will also hit PlayStation Network at the same time. Actually, you can buy all of thePrince of Persiagames on PSN now — they’ve been available since late last year.
