Xbox 360 owners have been playingRock Band 2for about a month now, and today MTV Games and Harmonix are finally officially revealing the release dates (sort of) for other consoles.
PlayStation 3 owners can pick up the game this Sunday, October 19, and should blow up Harmonix’s office phones to thank them for the short notice. The Wii and PlayStation 2 versions of the game will be available in December; no specific date has been revealed.
Houston, TX-based Pi Studios has been revealed to be handling the Wii version of the title, which has been confirmed to support online modes and downloadable content. The game will feature a full online in-game Music Store,and will contain every piece of DLC currently available, dating back to the originalRock Band.

[Update: Quick correction, straight from Harmonix — the Wii Rock Band store willnotfeature a full DLC library day one, as we originally reported. It will, however, offer up 50 tracks — 30 DLC, along with the promised 20 free tracks.
