It was only a matter of time before someone followed the “redesign beloved videogame characters as semi-realistic, creepy art” trend with a classic gaming icon like Mega Man.

Concept artist Jason Hazelroth stepped up to the plate, and I’m actually quite glad it was him instead of some guy on the Internet with the intent to purposely ruin my childhood using disturbing drawings. As I said in the headline, his work is considerably less terrifying than theearly box art Mega Man.
