When I picked up an Xbox 360 at launch, I was giddy over the idea of achievement points. I even vowed that I would not stop playing a game until I had completed all of the achievement tasks; this quickly went to hell when I finishedCondemned, and had no desire to go back and find a handful of dead birds. In fact, the only games I have all of the achievement points in are Xbox Live Arcade titles.
I’m so not hardcore.
Rock Band, on the other hand, I may actually try to see this through to the end. With challenges like “Flawless Groove: Score 100% notes hit as bassist, up-strums only, on Expert” (worth only 10 points), I may be at it for awhile. But for $169.99, you may bet your sweet a** I’m not going to be doing anything but playing this game until my hands, throat, and ears bleed.
