It’s hard for me to think about music games in their current form and not get dizzy at the notion of even more of them. But at least in the case ofRocksmith, there’s the appeal of using your real guitar rather than a plastic peripheral — not that those don’t serve a purpose.
Ubisoft has worked out a deal with GameStop:pre-orders ofRocksmithcome with a $25 voucher toward a purchase at Guitar Center. As far as these incentives go, we could be far worse off. I do love it when they ditch handing out chintzy merchandise in favor of gift cards and the like.
I’ll wager many of you would like to see more about this game before you even consider putting any money toward it. Can’t fault that logic.
