It’s hard for me to overstate how much I really enjoyed SouthPeak’sRoogooon Xbox LIVE Arcade (the game was also available on the PC). Adorable and addictive, the frantic shape-dropping action ofRoogoomade me happy.
Now, it’s coming to the Wii and Nintendo DS, and we have the new screens the prove it. While it seems like the general mechanics are the same — there is a shape, put it the hole that looks like that shape — SouthPeak is adding new features to try to make the games worth your while. Bosses, like “The Giant Squid,” have been added to the Nintendo DS version, for instance. You’ll also be able to link up the DS and Wii to unlock additional levels in both versions of the game.
