Primotechis reporting that their sources (you know, the ones “close to BioWare”) have confirmed that the company’s upcoming MMO is indeed set in theStar Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Universe.
While their source doesn’t offer any further information, the company has already confirmed that an MMO (due out in 2008) is being developed at their Austin studios. This is one of those rumors that has been around for awhile, and if we were to guess, may turn out to be true. No word on whether or not Electronic Arts (who recently acquired BioWare) will be involved.
So what do you guys think? The XboxKnights of the Old Republictitles were some of the best games on the console, with some of the most compelling narrative elements of its time. But how do you think something like that would translate to an MMO?
