Ubisoft are allegedly set to reveal two new games in the Clancy franchise this year. According to aCVGsource person, one game will be for theGhost Reconseries and the otherRainbow Six. It is also possible that these two games could release before Christmas.
It has been awhile since we’ve seen a newGRor a fresh setting forRainbox Six. The source person didn’t confirm is if these two games would be sequels or new spin-offs. Considering Ubisoft’s track record, we could be looking at new takes on both these games.
Personally, I would love to see both games return to their FPS roots. I adored the originalGRfor its slow pace and disciplined team play aspects. The switch to third-person perspective broke the experience for me. Third-person in outer space wouldn’t be so bad though.
