Samurai Shodown VI finally playable on U.S. consoles by way of anthology

I hope that none of you have had the misfortune of missing out on theSamurai Shodowngames, as they’re some of the best 2D fighters ever produced. But if you have been avoiding the series for whatever reason, there’s still hope: a compilation disc will be out later this year that containspracticallyevery title in the franchise (Samurai Shodown,II,III,IV,V,V Special, andVI).

Thanks to aninterview with SNKat GDC, we know thatSamurai Shodown Anthologywill be out in Q4 for PS2, PSP, and Wii. The best news, however, is thatSamurai Shodown VI,a game that hasn’t been available in the U.S. outside of arcades, will be among the titles included in the package.
