Why yes, ofBrütal Legendwill quite possibly be getting downloadable content! Don’t act surprised, you should have known as soon as you heard that Electronic Arts would be publishing the game. Before you rattle your cages and scream “ROBBERY,” however, let’s hear outBrütal Legendcreator Tim Schafer,who promisesthat the DLC will be “something awesome.”
Actually, there’s no further comment outside of that, with Double Fine’s PR goons doing their best to keep mouths tightly zipped. “Something awesome” was the only thing Schafer could say when DLC was brought up before he felt the cold press of a gun in his back. Mayhaps he was joking and there are no current plans for DLC at all, but with EA in the publisher’s seat, I’ll be shocked ifBrütal Legendisn’t milked at least a little bit.
Here’s hoping that the DLC, if any, is indeed awesome, and not just some extra rubbish costumes. I’m looking at you,Dead Space.
