It has been so long since the Xbox LIVE Arcade port ofDefense Gridwas announced, I was started to think the tower defense game was stuck in development hell. Turns out, I thought wrong — the game is still set to make a summer release.

Not only that, butDefense GridXBLAwill be playable at Comic-Con tomorrow. Head on over to the Microsoft booth for your one and only chance to play the game before it gets released.Jonathan enjoyedthe PC version, and after purchasing it for $5 on Steam during a sale, so did I.

I’m interested to see how the game has been adapted to work with an Xbox 360 controller in mind, so I for one will be looking out for any and all videos that hit the web.Defense Gridmay not have the aesthetic charm ofPlants vs. Zombies, but it is definitely one to look out for.
