Submarines scare the living hell out of me. I’m not overly claustrophobic, but the thought of being stuffed into a metal tube underwater, knowing that if anything goes wrong that I’m probably going to drown — probably in my top five least appealing ways to die — is just terrifying to me.
That may be part of the reason why I find this new trailer for the just-announcedSilent Hunter 5to be so compelling. Narrated by a German U-boat captain (presumably the one you play in the game), it shows some of the raw nerve necessary to perform that job. Nerve that I don’t have.
