With all the talk aboutCall of Duty: Black Ops, you’d be forgiven for thinking that Activision has another studio suckling at the cash cow’s teet. Sledgehammer Games is making an “adventure spin-off” title and according to studio boss Glen Schofield, its packing real-life based narrative that’ll blow you away.

“Working with military guys — their stories will blow you away,” he Tweets. “Names/locations will change but some situations going in the game — real stuff!”

Schofield also says that the audio for this newCall of Dutygame will “be better” than what his team did forDead Spacewhile he was working with Electronic Arts. The developer is currently picking composers as we speak.

These are the first real hints we’ve had about the game, even if they’re still pretty vague. One could fathom at least that the game will have a modern combat setting, given the stories they’re using, but that’s about it. Still, details are details, even if the bones don’t have too much meat to them.
