Sony has announced that it’s making PlayStation Home that much more appealing to gamers by partnering with indie game label Codename to provide original game content.

Among the first games announced isDueling Gentlemenby the award-winning Odd Gentlemen, the team behindThe Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. The game will have players using strategy on the huge stage in Home’s Plaza to duel against other denizens of the virtual world. Developer Peanut Gallery will deliverMinor Battle, a team-based, capture-the-flag-style platform game. Codename’sSuper Awesome Mountain RPGwill blend tabletop board games with fantasy role-playing titles, as players ascend a super awesome mountain. Finally, Lazy8’sCogswill make its appearance on the PlayStation 3… in 3D, and as a “dynamic public spectacle in Home’s Central Plaza.”

The games are said to be added to PlayStation Home “over the course of the next several months,” so keep your eyes peeled.
