Sony has been swimming in praise ever since itannounced the PlayStation 3 price cut, with Square Enix being the latest in a line of publishers to share its joy in the news.Final Fantasy XIIIproducer Yoshinori Kitase believes the price cut is “really good news” and has been timed just right.
“We’re taking it as really good news, actually, because we’re planning to releaseFinal Fantasy XIIIthis winter in Japan and next spring for both European and North American territories,” he tellsVG247. “Now that the hardware is becoming even more accessible for players, it’s really good timing for us.”

Good timing indeed for Square Enix. Looks like taking eighty-five billion-million-trillion years to develop a game has its definite benefits.
