Microsoft VP of Being Bono, Kudo Tsunoda, has told the BBC that Terminal Reality’sStar WarsKinect game is scheduled to arrive during 2011’s holiday season. This means that Kinect might very well be worth owning in a year from now, provided you’ve a strong stomach for on-rails titles.
“We have a KinectStar Warsgame coming out for next holiday,” says the Grouch. “I think you could just easily imagine being a Jedi and using Kinect to make you feel you’re part of a Star Wars experience, building yourself up into a Jedi.”
Tsunoda has also peggedForzaKinect for next year: “And another one next year isForza, which is the best racing game of this generation of consoles… Those are the two games I’m most excited about.”
Both these games have been put forth by Microsoft as evidence that Kinect isn’tjustfor people who think reality TV is the best thing ever created. I’m still unconvinced, but willing to be swayed if more than on-railsStar Warswould like to make itself known.
