Super Mario Galaxy 2is going to have a lot of Easter Eggs that fans will really dig and I noticed a few duringmy play time with the latestMariostory. The ones I picked up on were actually nods to my favoriteMarioadventure game of all time,Super Mario World.
Whenever a player would jump onto Yoshi, the music in the level would gain an extra layer of drum effects. Yoshi also runs away crying when the player gets hurt by an enemy if they’re riding the lovable dinosaur. Another musical nod comes with the ghost levels as the music is actually the same tune from the Ghost Houses inSuper Mario World.
The Easter Eggs are just small little throw backs, but as lifelong Mario fan, these Easter Eggs really made my time with the game just a little more special.
