The officialStar Wars: The Old Republicsite has been updated today with a fancy newGalaxy Map, allowing you to explore the various planet and ships that will be in the upcoming MMO. It’s somewhat reminiscent ofMass Effect 2‘s planet scanning mini-game, except that it isn’t excruciatingly slow and now one is forcing it on you.
There is an overwhelming amount of information here for you to uncover as each planet has a description and accompanying factoids. Adding to this, there’s a video of each planet that shows what various locales will look like in-game whenThe Old Republiclaunches onDecember 20th of this year.
