There’s the old saying that goes something down the lines of good things come to those who wait, but Richard Garriott and NCsoft seem to have a better idea in mind. Well aware that there’s not exactly a shortage of great games on the market for us to enjoy right now, they’ve decided to share a little early holiday cheer of their own with the announcement ofTabula Rasa’sreferral program.

The concept behind it is simple: As an account holder, you may send your friends a free three-day trial of the game. If they in turn upgrade to the full version, you are entitled to a month’s worth of fun of your own with the MMORPG, for free. Sound like a good deal to you? Catch up on all the juicy detailshere. Not bad at all, considering the game is less than a month old.

Get ready to fire off those invites, sell your soul, and lose yourself to yet another massively multiplayer online role-playing game. Face it — you don’t have anything better to do, anyway. Now head down to the basement, and accept your fate. At least this game seems like it might be ahalfway decentuse of your time, and you won’t go down alone. Isn’t that what friends are really for, in the first place?
