Here’s another could-have-been scenario for your contemplation. In response to Telltale Games’current line-up, which was recently shown to the press,Scott PilgrimcreatorBryan Lee O’Malley tweeted that the studio previously approached him about adapting the series.

“Telltale wanted to do Scott Pilgrim but I said no. I couldn’t see it as an adventure game. All respect to them, though,”reads his tweet. I’m sure many of you will respectively disagree; that’s my gut reaction.

At any rate, gettingScott Pilgrim vs. The World,the beat-’em-up, is a more-than-fair alternative to a Telltale-developed adventure version. If one game — and only one — was on the cards, you may’t be too upset at the outcome.
